Confessions of a High-Achieving Woman (The Good Parts We Don’t Talk About Enough)

Let me say something real quick…
We talk a lot about healing. We talk about burnout, stress, and doing too much.
And don’t get me wrong, that matters.
But lately?
I’ve been noticing something else.
I’ve been seeing wins.
Not the loud, highlight-reel kind. But the quiet ones.
The kind where:
A woman finally says no without over-explaining
She rests without guilt (even if it still feels a little unfamiliar)
She shows up as herself instead of who people expect her to be
She chooses peace… even when chaos is available
And I’ve been witnessing this not just in myself…
…but in the women around me too.
This month, especially with Women’s History Month, I wanted to do something different.
Not just celebrate the big, historical names we all know…
…but highlight the women who are doing the work right now.
The ones building, healing, showing up, evolving, sometimes quietly.
The ones behind the wins.
Because here’s what I’ve realized:
A lot of high-achieving women feel like they’re doing life alone.
Like they’re the only ones navigating:
Growth that feels uncomfortable
Success that doesn’t always feel fulfilling
The pressure to keep everything together
and the silent question of “is it just me?”
And the answer is?
No. It’s not just you.
There is something powerful that happens when women see each other clearly.
Not in competition.Not in comparison.
But in recognition.
Like, “oh… you’re figuring it out too?”“you’ve felt this too?”“you’re still showing up anyway?”
That kind of connection? It shifts things.
And I think that’s what I’ve been appreciating the most lately.
Not perfection. Not constant productivity. But progress, honesty, and community.
So if you’ve been in a season where things feel a little different…
Where you’re growing, shifting, or even just becoming more aware of yourself…
I want you to count that.
That matters too.
And if you’ve been watching the Women Behind the Wins post (every Friday for the Month of March)…I hope it reminded you of something important:
You’re not behind. You’re not the only one figuring it out. And your story, the real one, not just the polished version, matters.
If you want a space where conversations like this don’t just live on a post…
but actually turn into real support, reflection, and growth…
That’s what I’ve been building inside the Lock-In Lounge
And if you’re just getting started or need a reset?
The 7-Day Nervous System Reset + Life Audit is there to help you slow down, reflect, and realign, without pressure.
Either way… I just wanted to say this:
You’re doing better than you think.
And you’re not doing this alone.
XoXo
